Gemma Christina Arterton, an English actress, is well-known for movies such as Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, and ?Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. Her birthplace was in Gravesend, Kent, in Greater London. Her career began after studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and made her film debut with a supporting role in the comedic film "St Trinian's'. After that, she appeared in "Quantum of Solace", the James Bond spy thriller. The film was average that was mostly mediocre in reviewers. She then played an actress in the action fantasy film 'Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time'. In the past, she was an important role on the French film 'Orphan'. Arterton has been nominated for numerous awards in her professional career. She was awarded her the "Empire Award for the Most Outstanding Newcomer" in the film "Quantum of Solace" and also her "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for her role in the musical"Made by Dagenham".
