She was named one of the top teen stars of 2003 in the July 2003 issue of Vanity Fair. In 2004 Vega made two films: Sleepover, and State's Evidence. Later that year, she starred in the Lifetime TV movie Odd Girl Out, as one of the victims of cyber-bullying. Walkout was a 2006-made-for TV film, was her next role. The film was also completed Remember the Daze in April 2007. The film was released to cinemas with limited screenings. Repo was finished. The Genetic Opera, which came out in 2008. ([10]) Vega has been confirmed as the leading character of Helix, written and directed by Aram Rappaport, which began filming in Chicago in March 2008. Her initial role was in Robert Rodriguez's 2009 Robert Rodriguez film Shorts. But due to the fact that she was travelling to Australia for filming Broken Hill, the role of Vega on Shorts required to be recast. Kat Dennings replaced her. She was on Broadway in Hairspray with the character Penny. [11] In 2009, she starred as Ruby Gallagher on the ABC Family TV show, Ruby & the Rockits, in which she also appeared alongside Patrick and David Cassidy. Vega is Wick in The Devil's Carnival (2012), a movie from directors Darren Lynn Bousman, and Terrance Zdunich. The two previously worked together with Vega on Repo! The Genetic Opera. Vega was also on the Lifetime Channel movie The Pregnancy Project and her animated feature The Clockwork Girl was completed. The Mine, a film that was filmed by Vega and released in the year 2010 it was shown only to a small crowd. Vega was also voiced Christina for the animated series Unsupervised.
